Motorcyclist Airlifted After DeKalb County Crash

KINGSTON – A 44-year-old man from Hampshire was airlifted with serious injuries after a crash Sunday on Wolf Road near Glidden Road near Kingston in DeKalb County. Authorities say around 1:30 pm an SUV driven by a 43-year-old Genoa woman reportedly turned left into a private driveway and failed to yield to an eastbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle, causing a collision. Both the motorcycle driver and his 38-year-old female passenger from Kirkland were ejected. The passenger was taken by ambulance to Javon Bea Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jeep driver was not hurt and was cited for failure to yield while turning left. The crash remains under investigation.
