One Injured in Crash at Route 23 and Suydam Road

PAW PAW – An 89-year-old Paw Paw woman was taken to Northwestern Valley West Hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday at the intersection of State Route 23 and Suydam Road in DeKalb County. Deputies said the woman was driving west on Suydam Road when she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a northbound pickup driven by a 35-year-old Warrenville man. The man and his passenger were not injured. The woman was cited for disobeying a stop sign. Deputies were assisted by Somonauk Fire at the scene.
