7th Avenue Closure for Construction in Rochelle from March 27 to April 10

ROCHELLE – The City of Rochelle has announced the closure of 7th Avenue from Caron Road to Kelly Drive starting Thursday through April 10th, for inlet, manhole, and storm sewer reconstruction, along with concrete and asphalt pavement restoration. The work is being conducted in preparation for pavement resurfacing scheduled for May. Truck traffic is required to use 6th Street to Illinois Route 251 or other designated truck routes, as Kelly Drive will be off-limits for truck access during this period. Barricades, detours, and other traffic control devices will be in place, and drivers are urged to exercise caution and follow posted signs in the area.
