MESA, Ariz. — The Chicago White Sox fell 8-4 to the Los Angeles Angels in spring training action, surrendering eight unanswered runs after building an early lead. Chicago jumped in front 4-0 when Austin Hays hit a three-run home run in the first inning and Colson Montgomery added a solo homer in the third. The Angels began their comeback in the fourth, highlighted by a towering home run from Jo Adell. Los Angeles then took control with a go-ahead homer by Chris Taylor and additional extra-base hits in the seventh inning. Chicago finished the game just 2-for-18 with runners in scoring position and dropped to 11-9 in Cactus League play. The Sox are back in action tonight against the Giants
