U of I Extension to Offer Free Gardening Programs in Stillman Valley

STILLMAN VALLEY — The Ogle County Master Gardeners will offer two free gardening programs for adults at the Julia Hull District Library, 100 Library Lane in Stillman Valley. The first, Kitchen Herb Gardening, will be Thursday, March 5, from 6 to 7 p.m., teaching participants how to grow and use herbs at home. The second, Gardening with Native Plants, will be Thursday, May 7, from 6 to 7 p.m., covering selection, planting, and care of native plants that support local wildlife.
