(San Antonio, TX) — The Florida Gators and Houston Cougars will face off in the NCAA Men’s Championship Game Monday night.
The Gators took down the SEC rival Auburn Tigers 79-to-73 with Walter Clayton Junior leading all scorers with 34-points.
The Cougars made a late comeback to top the Duke Blue Devils 70-to-67. L.J. Cryer posted 26-points in the win, including going six-of-nine from three-point range.
Florida is looking for their first national championship since 2007. Houston has never won a national championship in basketball.
