Spring Road Postings Underway

OREGON – Many rural and county roads will be under a weight restriction for 30 days for the annual Spring thaw. Ogle County announced their highway department will have their roads posted on March 3rd. Many other townships and counties will also be enacting similar rules this week, as temperatures have remained above freezing. Authorities put weight restrictions on rural roads to protect the surface from damage. For details about specific roads, contact your local road commissioner or township supervisor.
