FREEPORT — State Senator Andrew Chesney of Freeport is inviting residents of the 45th District to take part in a Valentines for Seniors card drive to help bring cheer to seniors living in local care facilities. The drive encourages community members to create or purchase Valentine’s Day cards with messages of encouragement and appreciation, which will be distributed to seniors ahead of the holiday. Cards must be received by Feb. 7, 2026, and can be dropped off or mailed to Senator Andrew Chesney’s district office at 50 West Douglas Street, Suite 1001, in Freeport during regular office hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
