(Mesa, AZ) — The Chicago Cubs will be without one of their top sluggers on Opening Day. Seiya Suzuki will miss the start of the season with a knee sprain.
Suzuki suffered the injury while trying to steal a base for Japan in the World Baseball Classic.
The Cubs haven’t decided whether or not Suzuki will begin the year on the injured list yet.
