ROCHELLE — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will host a blood drive on Monday, Feb. 16, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Rochelle Community Hospital, 900 N. 2nd St., Rochelle, IL 61068. RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center, said that repeat donors help with health needs regionally.
“Consistent blood donation is critical to preventing shortages and ensuring hospitals can respond quickly to patient needs,” she said.
Appointments are encouraged; donors should bring a photo ID.
