ROCKFORD – A 48-year-old Rockford man is charged with sexually assaulting a minor. Rockford Police say they were contacted in October to investigate a report of a sexual assault of a juvenile. Investigators identified the suspect as Danny Cross. Cross was arrested this week and taken to the Winnebago County Jail. The victim and suspect knew each other.
