ROCHELLE – Rochelle officials will host a public open house today to honor departing City Manager Jeff Fiegenschuh as he prepares to transition to a new leadership role in Washington, Illinois. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Rochelle City Hall located at 420 N. 6th St. Fiegenschuh served the Rochelle community for eight years and oversaw various economic and infrastructure projects before accepting a contract to become the Washington city administrator starting Jan. 19. All residents and community members are invited to attend the gathering to recognize his years of service to the city.
