Rochelle Downtown Construction Updates Include Parking, Dumpsters and Sewer Work

ROCHELLE – Downtown Rochelle construction will continue through December 2026 with several updates planned for businesses and visitors. Trash dumpsters will be temporarily relocated to Lincoln Highway at 4th and 5th Avenues and near the Hope Chest/Distillery. The 400 block of Lincoln Highway will become one-way with diagonal parking to increase spaces once Main Street lots close. A new storm sewer will be installed in the alley and along 4th Avenue from Main Street to El Sol between Lincoln Highway and 6th Street beginning in March, with intermittent lane closures expected for about a month.
