HILLCREST – A resident of Hillcrest for over a decade was appointed as the newest Trustee in the village on Wednesday night. William Peska was appointed by Village President Richard Rhoads to take the seat previously held by Trustee Tim Ball, who stepped down last month ahead of moving out of the area. Peska said he wants to keep the community friendly.
“ It’s just a real quiet, nice neighborhood to live in,” Peska said. “Always see kids going around playing. It’s very safe, like to keep it that way, kind of small. Rochelle right next to us is small as well, but Hillcrest just seems a little smaller, a little more homey.”
