OREGON – The Oregon VFW Post 8739 is bringing the community together for another exciting St. Patrick’s Day celebration, featuring the band “Whitlock and Loaded”. The group will play a mix of country and classic rock from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday the 15th, while guests enjoy a hearty Irish meal with all the traditional fixings, including corned beef and cabbage. This year’s event promises to be even bigger than last, with live music added to the festivities. The event is open to the public, with all proceeds supporting veterans and local veteran organizations.
Post 8739 Commander Matt Alford said “We’re open to the public for any of the events, so we’re more than happy to have all the public and family members and everybody come out.”
