DeKALB, Ill. – Northern Illinois University football completed its 2026 non-conference schedule with the addition of Georgia State, the two schools announced Thursday. The Huskies will travel to Atlanta to face Georgia State on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
The matchup between the Huskies and Panthers at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
The non-conference home game is against Illinois State.
NIU will play Iowa and Arizona on the road.
