Rob Harley
The NIU Huskies begin spring football practice on Wednesday under interim head coach Rob Harley as they prepare for the 2026 season.
There will be a total of 15 practices which includes the Spring Showcase event on April 25th.
NIU is coming off a season of (3-9)
Harley does not expect any changes this spring compared to past years for the Huskies.
NIU opens up the season on September 5th at Iowa. The first home game will be September 12th against Illinois State.
All of the games in 2026 will be played on Saturday.
