Man Charged In Deadly Rockford Shooting In February

ROCKFORD –  A man is charged in a Rockford murder in February.  Police say two men were found shot February 6th in an apartment in the 900 block of 4th Avenue.  One of the victims, 19-year-old Dejuante Poe, died at the hospital.  Investigators learned that the two victims were at a party when a fight broke out and shots were fired.  Authorities identified Stephen Boddie as a suspect and he was arrested yesterday in the 5700 block of Whispering Way in Loves Park.  Boddie faces charges of First-Degree Murder and Aggravated Battery.
