Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival to Stay at Atwood Park

ROCHELLE — The 29th annual Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival will return to Atwood Park in Rochelle once again from August 14th  through 16th, moving  from its usual downtown location because of ongoing construction. Organizers say the event will feature entertainment, food vendors, and a car show. The festival faced challenges last year, including lost revenue from what they felt was being spread out at Atwood Park. Organizers spoke at the Flagg-Rochelle Park District Board meeting Monday night, hoping to work with the district to keep vendors and attractions centralized.
