The change is intended to expand housing options by allowing smaller secondary homes on existing properties. Officials also approved a financial surety bond for the Meadow Solar project at 150% of estimated decommissioning costs to ensure removal of equipment at the end of the project. A resolution was approved to place a moratorium on battery energy storage systems until state regulations are finalized.
