SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Army National Guard achieved a record-breaking recruiting month in February, the best since March 2019. Eight of the 11 battalion companies exceeded their goals, with Company L in Mattoon reaching its target for the fourth straight month and Company H in Woodstock on pace for a fiscal year record. Company C in Rock Falls also surpassed its goals. Lt. Col. Lance Frail credits the success to teamwork, strong applicant communication, and a 10% increase in recruits passing the Military Entrance Processing Station.
