SYCAMORE — Hy-Vee in Sycamore will host a Veterans Day Breakfast on Tuesday, November 11, from 6 to 10 a.m. at 2700 DeKalb Avenue. The event offers a free dine-in breakfast for all veterans and active-duty military, featuring guest speakers, the Pledge of Allegiance, and participation from the Army National Guard. Challenge coins will be available while supplies last. Veterans and service members can also receive 15% off groceries in-store or online using the code VETS2025 on November 11.
Hy-Vee Community Engagement Manager Gus Guevara said the store is proud to honor those who serve, noting, “Hy-Vee has a long tradition of taking care of veterans and showing them the support and appreciation they deserve.” He added that the breakfast will include “bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, sweets, and juices — just a good old American breakfast.”
