Flagg Township Museum Seeks Community Poetry for Upcoming Penny Exhibit

ROCHELLE – The Flagg Township Museum in Rochelle is inviting the public to contribute to their upcoming spring display. Under the heading “A penny for your thoughts!”, the museum is calling for original “Penny Poems” or an “Ode to the Penny” to celebrate the 232-year history of the coin.Submissions will be featured in the “Ode to the Penny” exhibit, which is scheduled to run throughout April and May.
