BYRON – Five individuals are facing burglary charges after a reported break-in in the 10,000 block of North Kennedy Hill Road. On Friday evening Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Byron Police Department located a 20-year-old from Poplar Grove, a 19-year-old from Rockford, a 19-year-old and an 18-year-old, both from Poplar Grove, and a 23-year-old from Clarksville, Tennessee, and charged them with burglary. The Tennessee suspect was also charged with aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia and was held pending a pretrial hearing.The four other individuals were released with a notice to appear.
