Dylan Manning of Rochelle had his drain removed on Saturday at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood following surgery this week.
The junior football and baseball player had a cranioplasty procedure on his head this past Wednesday. This involved a 3-D printed plastic for his scalp.
Dylan had brain surgery last October after being injured in the football game with Morris.
Manning is getting some good rest in the hospital and hopes to come home within the next few days.
Manning has been home since late November recovering from his first surgery. He hopes to return to RTHS for classes some time this second semester.
