Downtown Parking Restrictions Set for Friday Snow Removal in Rochelle

ROCHELLE — Rochelle will begin clearing snow from downtown sidewalks, parking stalls and parking lots Friday starting at 2 a.m., and street parking will be prohibited during the operation. All municipal lots will be closed except Lots 1, 17, 8 and 12, which will be open for parking at their usual locations on Main Street, Lincoln Highway and 6th Street. Vehicles must be parked in one of the open lots or they will be towed at the owner’s expense. Snow removal will take place on business district streets including Lincoln Highway from 6th Avenue to 2nd Avenue, Lincoln Avenue from Lincoln Highway to 6th Street, Main Street from Cherry Avenue to 6th Avenue, 6th Street from Lincoln Avenue to 6th Avenue, Cherry Avenue from Lincoln Highway to North 3rd Street, 4th Avenue from 7th Street to North 3rd Street, 5th Avenue from 7th Street to North Main Street and 6th Avenue from 7th Street to Main Street.
