DeKalb Man Charged After Narcotics Investigation

DEKALB — A DeKalb man is in custody following a narcotics investigation by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities said deputies executed a court authorized search warrant in January at an apartment in the 1300 block of North Annie Glidden Road in DeKalb. Authorities claim they found more than 50 grams of a purported controlled substance, more than four pounds of purported cannabis, and allegedly a firearm. After further investigation, the DeKalb County State’s Attorney’s Office charged 25-year-old Larry Dunn of DeKalb. He is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a Class X felony, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of cannabis, and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Dunn was arrested at the DeKalb County Jail where he was being held on unrelated charges and remains in custody.
