DeKalb County Grant Funds Agriculture and Conservation Internships at Kishwaukee College

SYCAMORE — The DeKalb County Community Foundation is providing $42,000 through the Samardzija-Gutesha Family Fund to support agriculture and conservation internships for Kishwaukee College students. The grant offers hands-on learning opportunities for students pursuing careers in farming, natural resource conservation, and land stewardship while connecting them with local employers. Internship placements prioritize projects that benefit DeKalb County residents and support the region’s farmland and natural resources.
