The Byron High School cheerleading team has qualified for the Class 1A State Finals following a second place finish Saturday at the Dundee-Crown Sectional.
Byron totaled a score of 90,70. Richmond-Burton came in first place with a score of 94.93.
Rochelle competing in the Class 2A Division. They finsihed in 8th place.
The top 5 schools in each division qualified for the cheerleading State Final on February 6th and 7th at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
