The Byron High School cheerleading team competed Friday at the Class 1A Division of the State Finals.
The event took place at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.
The top 10 teams advance to the Finals on Saturday.
The Byron cheerleading team finished in 11th place in the preliminary round with a score of 87.97.
