ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Holcomb Bank presented the Annual Lucky Hub Dash Saturday morning, bringing runners and walkers to the Flannigan Park bike path for the annual event.
The 5K course, which began and ended at Flannigan Park, featured divisions for both adult and youth participants. In the adult category, Brent Ewald of Compton finished first with a time of 19:25. Anthony Rowley of Rochelle took second at 23:39, and John Mathey of DeKalb followed in third at 26:48.
The youth division saw Wyatt Schmidt of Sycamore take the top spot with a time of 18:40. Colt Jensen of Clare finished second at 21:31, and Reed Rowley of Rochelle placed third with a time of 22:50.
In addition to the timed results, the event recognized participants for their holiday attire. Frank Micheli of Rockford was named Most Festive in the adult category, while Beckett Freeman of Rochelle received the honors for the youth division.
