FORRESTON — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will hold a blood drive on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Forreston Jr./Sr. High School, 601 E. Main St., Forreston, IL 61030. RRVBC must collect more than 800 units each week to meet local patient needs across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Maggie Anderson, Donor Recruiter with the Rock River Valley Blood Center said regular donations are vital.
“Rock River Valley Blood Center relies on regular community donations to supply the full blood needs of 14 area hospitals,” she said.
Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are welcome, and donors should bring a photo ID.
