ROCKFORD — A teen is charged following a traffic stop and shooting in Rockford. Police say officers pulled over a vehicle last week being driven by Evan Moreno near Morgan and Buchanan Streets. Officers recovered a loaded handgun and took Moreno into custody. He was also identified as a suspect in a shooting on School Street the night before. The 19-year-old faces multiple gun charges.
