DIXON — Senator Li Arellano, Jr. officially opened his new district office in Dixon on Wednesday, providing local residents the chance to meet him and his team. The office is located at 86 S. Galena Ave., Suite 2, is downtown adjacent to the Rock River. Arellano said it was important to have staff where residents can find them.
“It’s important to have at least one office that’s staffed regularly so people can call in from anywhere in the district or walk in,” he said. “We do have appointments both in our traveling office hours and then in our satellite offices, but it’s important to have a hub that’s always available that’s not down in Springfield, that’s staffed with people from the district who can see me on a daily basis.”
