BYRON — A 50-year-old Byron man is facing gun charges after an investigation into a domestic disturbance Wednesday. Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 8:40 a.m. to the 200 block of East Hillcrest Drive and arrested Jason L. Edgar on charges of domestic battery, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a FOID card, and possession of ammunition without a FOID card. He was taken to the Ogle County Jail and held pending a pre-trial release hearing.
