Uninhabited Structure Destroyed in Ogle County Fire

OREGON — A structure in the 1000 block of South Skare Road was destroyed Tuesday night after it was fully engulfed in flames. Deputies from the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office responded around 11:15 p.m., and fire crews from Oregon, Byron, Mount Morris, Stillman Valley, Rochelle, Dixon, Ashton, Flagg Center, Steward, and Franklin Grove, along with Advance Ambulance and other surrounding agencies, assisted. The building was unoccupied at the time and no injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation with the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
