HILLCREST — The Village of Hillcrest approved its 2026 Chip Seal Program to maintain local streets last Wednesday, including Windover Park Drive, Windward Lane, Leeward Lane, Windmill Drive, Oak Avenue, Errett Road from Linda to Maple, Maple Avenue, all Windover Subdivision Courts, and Bethel Road, which was postponed from 2024. The program is estimated to cost $85,640, with $25,500 covering the village portion of Bethel Road, and the village will work with Ogle County to complete the project.
