OREGON – The Veterans Assistance Commission of Ogle County has surpassed 1,000 veterans served, connecting local service members with benefits such as VA disability compensation, pensions, health care, and education. The commission’s work has helped bring millions of dollars in aid and economic impact to the county, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting those who served.
Becky Davis, President of the Veterans Assistance Commission of Ogle County, said all of those who have served need to look into what benefits may be available.
“You’ve said that you’re willing to die for this country. And this is just something that you have already earned,” she said.
The VAC continues to encourage veterans to reach out for assistance and extends gratitude to community partners and local leaders for their ongoing support.
