The Cubs used a double steal in the 10th inning prior to the hit by Happ. Chicago took 3 out of 4 games in the series.
Every game was a one-run contest.
Chris Flexen picked up the win in relief.
Spencer Horwitz had 2 hits and an RBI for the Pirates.
The Cubs open up a 3-game series Tuesday night at Wrigley Field against Milwaukee.
