Hope of Ogle County Offers 24/7 Support for Individuals in Danger

OREGON  – Hope of Ogle County provides round-the-clock support for individuals facing domestic violence or other dangerous situations, offering free and confidential services including legal advocacy, emergency shelter, and safety planning.

Executive Director Rebecca Laudati said, “The first thing somebody should do, if they feel that their life is in danger or is escalating to that point, is to always call 9 1 1 and get to a safe place.”

The organization’s crisis line is available day and night to connect people with help and guide them to safe resources.

Laudati added, “Here at Hope we’re able to offer all of our services free. They’re confidential. We can help with legal advocacy in getting an order of protection, emergency shelter if your home doesn’t feel safe and you need to go somewhere for some time to think and regroup and figure out a safety plan.”
