Rockford Leaders Confirm Homeland Security Was In City

ROCKFORD —  Rockford leaders are confirming that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was in the city.  Mayor Tom McNamara says they are working to determine what law enforcement agency was captured in videos circulated on local social media yesterday.  The city couldn’t confirm whether those in the video were ICE.  Rockford police released a statement saying the individuals seen in the footage weren’t members of the Rockford Police Department.
