SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie was honored Wednesday at the 97th Illinois FFA State Convention in Springfield, where she received an honorary degree in recognition of her support for the organization. The event celebrated leaders and students who contribute to the future of agriculture across the state.
“It was an honor to be recognized by Illinois FFA because it comes from the very people shaping the next generation of agricultural excellence. Agriculture is more than an industry—it’s a way of life that feeds, fuels, and sustains our future,” McCombie said. “The FFA embodies that future, thank you!”
