(Oakmont, PA) — The next major championship is up for grabs.
Bryson DeChambeau will be looking to defend his title when the US Open tees off from Oakmont Country Club. DeChambeau won last year’s tournament after finishing atop the leaderboard at six under par.
The 31-year-old will be alongside Xander Schauffele and Jose Luis Ballester for the first and second rounds.
The number 1 player in the world, Scottie Scheffler, is the favorite this week at the U.S. Open after winning 3 tournaments this year which includes the PGA Championship.
The winning score is expected to be around even par with fast greens and thick rough.
