Leon Draisaitl scored on a power play goal in the overtime for the win. It was his second goal of the game.
Sam Bennett had 2 goals for Florida.
The Oilers came from behind after trailing 3-1 in the 2nd period.
Game 2 of the Stanley Cup is Friday night in Edmonton.
