POLO – The Polo City Council has amended its Code of Ordinances to allow lots with residential zoning but lacking a principal residential structure to connect to the city’s water and sewer services, provided they have an accessory building. The amendment grants an exception to the usual requirement that a primary residential building must be present for utility hookups, benefiting property owners who have accessory structures but no main dwelling. The motion passed 3-1 on Monday night.
