ROCKFORD — A 24-year-old Rockford man faces gun charges following a traffic stop over the weekend. Rockford police responded early Saturday to the 700 block of 7th Avenue, where they located multiple shell casings and spotted a vehicle leaving the area. Officers pulled over the vehicle and located a handgun with an automatic switch on a passenger identified as William Pouncy. He was arrested and taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
