OREGON — The Oregon Police Department reported the following activity during the month of December 2025.
December 1
At 4:06 a.m., Curtis G. Rucker, 29, of Leaf River, was cited for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone in the 1200 block of West Washington Street.
December 2
At 8:47 p.m., Shaye T. Alford, 22, of Pecatonica, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of West Washington Street.
December 3
At 7:37 p.m., police responded to a two vehicle crash in the 400 block of South 10th Street involving a 2010 Dodge driven by Jennifer L. Eich, 33, of Oregon, and a parked 2000 Ford owned by Dalton T. McCammon, 19, of Oregon. Eich was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
At 11:56 p.m., Johnna D. Rowland, 24, of Mt. Morris, was cited for disobeying a traffic control device at South 10th and Webster streets.
December 5
At 9:15 a.m., Isaiah X. Darnell, 27, of Mt. Morris, was arrested for driving while license suspended in the 1300 block of West Washington Street. He was processed and released with a notice to appear.
At 3:58 p.m., police took a hit and run report in the 500 block of Gale Street involving a 2019 Jeep driven by Jeffrey J. Dawdy, 53, of Stillman Valley. Ryan D. Kochsmier, 23, of Oregon, was later identified, arrested for driving while license revoked, and cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was processed and released with a notice to appear.
December 8
At 8:07 a.m., Victor M. Aldaco, 45, of Oregon, was cited for expired registration in the 100 block of North 14th Street.
At 12:44 p.m., police took a report of a hit and run that occurred Dec. 7 in the 300 block of Gale Street involving a parked 2020 Chevrolet owned by Diane M. Roos, 75, of Oregon.
December 9
At 6:57 a.m., Nylasha N. Williams, 25, of Freeport, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of South 10th Street.
At 7:52 a.m., Carolina S. Lara, 23, of Rochelle, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 100 block of East Washington Street.
At 2:05 p.m., Kylie E. Blume, 20, of Stillman Valley, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of South 10th Street.
At 2:12 p.m., police responded to a hit and run involving a damaged fence at McDonald’s, 211 South 4th Street.
December 10
At 7:52 a.m., police responded to a two vehicle crash at South 9th and Madison streets involving a juvenile driver and Samuel A. Bedgood, 18, of Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.
At 8:19 a.m., police responded to a second crash at the same intersection involving Dale A. Griffin, 49, of Oregon, and Emma A. Krueger, 26, of Oregon. Griffin was cited for driving too fast for conditions, expired registration, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 9:07 a.m., Tyler S. Bunting, 35, of Mt. Morris, was cited for suspended registration due to non insurance and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Pines Road.
December 12
At 3:35 p.m., a 17 year old male juvenile of Oregon was cited for disobeying a stop sign at South 10th and Webster streets.
December 13
At 12:16 p.m., Abigail R. Antczak, 25, of Oregon, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of South 10th Street.
At 4:04 p.m., Matthew D. Vanderkolk, 25, of Oregon, was cited for expired registration in the 300 block of Illinois Street.
At 8:41 p.m., Michael J. Ringley, 43, of Oregon, was cited for expired registration in the 300 block of North 4th Street.
December 14
At 4:35 p.m., Michael G. Tieman, 36, of Dixon, was cited for expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 100 block of North 4th Street.
December 15
At 12:43 p.m., police responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash at North 4th and West Washington streets involving Patrick J. Beavers, 32, of Mt. Morris, and pedestrian Fred L. Smith, 63, of Oregon. Beavers was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian. Smith was transported to OSF St. Katharine’s Hospital in Dixon.
At 5:05 p.m., Bryan J. Rosenbalm, 35, of Mt. Morris, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 following a complaint in the 200 block of East Washington Street. He was processed and released with a notice to appear.
December 16
At 11:24 a.m., Brett A. Barnes, 42, of Oregon, was arrested on an Ogle County warrant for criminal sexual assault and transported to the Ogle County Jail.
December 17
At 3:16 a.m., Barbara J. Ohata, 80, of Oregon, was cited for no valid driver’s license in the 300 block of Monroe Street.
At 6:45 p.m., police located a single vehicle crash involving a 2011 Kia driven by Brenda K. Harrolle, 68, of Oregon. No citations were issued.
December 18
At 3:52 a.m., Curtis G. Rucker, 29, of Leaf River, was cited for speeding 47 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 800 block of North 4th Street.
At 11:20 a.m., police responded to a two vehicle crash in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street involving two juvenile drivers. No citations were issued.
At 2:51 p.m., Davey L. Christian, 65, of Byron, was cited for disobeying a stop sign at North 3rd and Franklin streets.
At 11:02 p.m., Trey M. Woosley, 23, of Oregon, was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 800 block of North 4th Street.
December 20
At 11:28 p.m., Maureen E. Nicolls, 49, of Stillman Valley, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for improper lane use. She was processed and released with a notice to appear.
December 21
At 3:46 p.m., Isaiah Johnson, 40, of Oregon, was arrested on an outstanding Ogle County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge.
December 22
At 9:32 a.m., Niki L. Smith, 32, of Davis Junction, was cited for suspended registration due to non insurance and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 200 block of South 4th Street.
At 4:34 p.m., Clinton D. McCandless, 40, of Kings, was cited for disobeying a traffic control device at 3rd and Washington streets.
At 5:19 p.m., Michael F. Lawton, 59, of Dixon, was cited for disobeying a stop sign at North 3rd and Franklin streets.
At 7:22 p.m., Alan J. McKee, 25, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, was cited for speeding 57 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 1000 block of South Illinois Route 2.
December 23
At 7:40 a.m., Deandria M. Blatter, 29, of Leaf River, was cited for expired registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 400 block of West Washington Street.
At 9:23 p.m., Mason A. Vande Voorde, 22, of Pecatonica, was cited for speeding 59 mph in a 40 mph zone in the 1000 block of South Illinois Route 2.
December 26
At 2:32 p.m., Arshawn Q. Hubert, 18, of Davenport, Iowa, was cited for no front or rear registration plates and operating an uninsured motor vehicle in the 400 block of North 4th Street.
At 9:52 p.m., Gabriel H. Chase, 24, of Rockford, was cited for expired registration in the 300 block of South 4th Street.
December 29
At 6:02 p.m., police responded to a vehicle versus building incident in the 200 block of East Washington Street involving a 2010 Toyota driven by Kyle N. Miller, 20, of Mt. Morris. No citations were issued.
December 31
At 1:40 p.m., Keegan S. Diehl, 21, of Oregon, was issued a city citation for violating the inoperable motor vehicle ordinance in the South 3rd Street municipal parking lot.
Police reported issuing 58 verbal warnings and four parking citations during December.
All charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
