ROCHELLE – Rochelle’s downtown will come alive on Friday, June 6, as the Hub City Motor Club hosts “Cut the Square” from 4 to 8 p.m. Drivers can cruise the square, 7th Street to Route 38 to Lincoln Highway to 4th Avenue or Lincoln Avenue, in 50s through 80s style. The Flagg Township Museum will serve as a central stop, offering a display of vintage cars, food trucks, music from a DJ, ice cream, and retro touches like poodle skirts. Visitors can also snap a photo with a cardboard cutout of Rochelle native Joan Allen. More information is available at flaggtownshipmuseumrochelle.org.
