Mini Food Center to Open at Dixon Public Library

DIXON — A new Mini Food Center will soon open at the Dixon Public Library, offering 24/7 access to healthy foods for local residents. Funded through a CDC grant awarded to the Ogle County Health Department, the center was built by Oregon High School shop students as part of their final project. Fresh produce for the center will come from the Sauk Valley Food Bank, and volunteer opportunities to help stock the center will be announced soon.
