Illinois Cities Lag in U.S. News ‘Best Places to Live’ List; Arlington Heights Ranks Highest at No. 56

CHICAGO – U.S. News and World Report is out with its 250 Best Places to Live in the U.S. with cities located in neighboring states faring much better than Illinois communities. The list is based on surveys and data across several metrics, including quality of life, job market strength, and home affordability. Arlington Heights was the top ranking Illinois city at No. 56, followed by Buffalo Grove at No. 63 and Naperville at No. 76. The top spot went to Johns Creek, Georgia.
